The effective integration of U.S. immigrants contributes to economic robustness and to a vibrant and ever-changing culture. Today, there are 41 million immigrants living in the United States which represent 13.1 percent of the U.S. population. Also, U.S. born children of immigrants, the second largest generation, represent another 37.1 million people, or 12 percent of the population. Together the first and second generations account for one out of four members of the U.S. population. Whether they are successfully integrating is therefore a pressing and important matter.
Since its establishment, TLYL has been providing vital integration services to immigrant community members of northern Virginia, helping them achieve social inclusion and economic mobility through programs and services. By donating to our organization, you ensure our organization continues providing free services to those who need it most. We appreciate your support.
